Stay tuned to our ever-changing website because you will find out the latest information on the three major events which are The 5th Annual Scholarship Banquet, our Spectacular Chamber BBQ and  our First Annual Tampa Bay Black Chamber of Commerce Black Expo.  The Tampa Bay Black Chamber of Commerce is here to lead the growth, development and rise of Minority Business throughout this region. Be apart of the excitement; so that you and your business can be a part of this economic resurgence for Minority Owned Business! My staff and I stand ready and prepared to accept the challenge to help your business grow. I look forward to seeing you at one of our many Tampa Bay Black Chamber of Commerce events.

The Tampa Bay Black Chamber of Commerce was founded by Mr. Willis K.C. Bowick in 2008. The main focus of the chamber makes a statement of Economic Empowerment and Sustainability for all communities in the Tampa Bay area. The spirit of entrepreneurship will transform youth, parents, and grandparents into the business sector.
We must understand that there is a purpose to support and develop opportunities into effective networking circles that translate into building strong business partnerships among minorities and woman. The chamber is a nonprofit, non partisan, non sectarian that abides by the 501C status that guides our programs:

 * Neighborhood Improvement Programs
* Entrepreneurship Seminars
* After School Mentoring Programs

* Senior Sustainability Programs

Over the Chamber's brief history, many changes have to be considering in organizing the corporation. The traditional role of the chamber's work at times seems to be irrelative based upon our changing world. As our communities are embarked by the role of technology and the globally wide recession, the chamber has to define itself to meet these changes as well as evolve to meet the many challenges dictated by our declining communities.

In the past few months, the chamber has made great strides in the development of its Board, clarification of goals and objectives, web-site development and implementation of various projects meet the needs of the community. Our investment in the future is to to target small business and entrepreneurs through the use of training, workshops, and seminars.

In strengthening our community capacity to serve itself, the chamber will be addressing fundamental needs by transforming health care at the grassroots level; as well as stirring warm hearts in safe homes for our seniors. These are just some of the projects that are forth coming.

The chamber has reached out to the community in building partnerships and networking. Our most recent partner is the Black Shopping Network. They are newcomers to our community and we welcome them.
Come join us and make our community proud and successful.

Sincerely,

Willis KC Bowick
President
